Wedding Supplier: Simlas
Location: The Broadway, Southall (London)
The team entered Simlas, a popular fashion outlet on Southall’s busy Broadway high street on a miserable cold afternoon
– It only got worst!
We headed straight to the men’s section at the back of the shop for there to be no one to help or assist us to look through the section of outfits. This wasn’t too bad since sometimes it is nice to browse through at your own convenience…
I was pleased to see the owner approach us 10 minutes later to ask how he could help and when our function was to be held. We replied that we were looking for a wedding outfit and possibly a few other outfits of other occasions leading to the wedding day in June. To my shock the owner said not to bother looking at the outfits since these will all be outdated by then! Don’t bother looking at these he said pointing to the racks and displays.
We weren’t put off by his dissuasion and went on to ask to see one of the outfits insisting that we had numerous functions coming and we were looking to buy. The owner then blocked our way and said to come back in a few months. He went on to say that none of the outfits on display were available and that none were really of any good quality!
He then guided us out of the shop where we were met by other couples being escorted out of the shop who also had experienced a similar episode.
VERY DISAPOINTING AND SHOCKING
We believe it may be that since it was their closing time that we were escorted out but this is certainly not the way to behave with clients.
The team here at TeriMeriShaadi were not impressed and certainly not pleased.
Beware all, the fashion here will be outdated and apparently nothing on show is available or of good quality? Strange.
